Season 2011-2012

Our popular Salon Series is the foundation of TACT's success. These unique presentations offer an intimate theatrical experience - enjoyed exclusively by our subscribers - and include complementary refreshments with the cast.

This year's SALON SERIES explores how hidden truths, prevarications, cloaked identities, and misrepresentations lead to nothing less than great drama. With humor, pathos, or passion, each play in this year's series follows its own distinct path to eventually uncovering the truth; and you won't want to miss a single one! We are thrilled to be presenting some truly rare gems in this group, including an American Premiere!
The SALON SERIES is the backbone, heart, and soul of TACT and the embodiment of our mission. Here TACT is free to bring you exciting, challenging and edgy works from the past - works that you won't see anywhere else in the city - in our own distinct theatrical style that honors the text and the actor.

Overview

This sparkling comedy by English dramatist, Fredrick Lonsdale, gives a bird’s eye view of married life and the fine line between the comforts of the cage versus its confines. Although Lonsdale may not have all the answers, this jovial and effervescent play will get you thinking about everyone’s happily ever after in a whole new way.
