David Staller

David Staller is the Founding Artistic Director of Gingold Theatrical Group in New York City, which is dedicated to presenting works about Human Rights using the visionary precepts of George Bernard Shaw as its platform. GTG presents the monthly PROJECT SHAW reading series at Symphony Space and the annual SHAW NEW YORK festival. He is the first person to direct performances of all of Shaw’s 65 plays and is a frequent guest speaker, internationally, about human rights and all things Shaw. Produced and directed many plays and special events in NY, Chicago, L.A., London, Deauville, Vienna. Acted in 3 Broadway and 50 off-Broadway plays. Was a staff script writer for Turner Entertainment, studied ‘cello with Rostropovich at USC, danced with the Joffrey, studied acting with Lee Strasberg, Uta Hagen and at RADA. Helmed many educational programs in NY, including those at Lighthouse Int, Baruch, U at Stony Brook. Member SDC, AEA, SAG/AFTRA. www.gingoldgroup.org
