Director of Development and Marketing
William E. Grau joined TACT as Director of Development and Marketing in February 2017. Bill has been a passionate supporter of TACT since he saw its production of Tennessee Williams’ “Eccentricities of a Nightingale” in 2008. He was first introduced to TACT by Adjunct Company Member and former Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, whom he met while they were taking a course in Arts Administration at NYU’s School of Professional Studies.
Since 2008, Bill has supported TACT by serving as a member of its Advisory Council and also helping to plan and host a number of post-show “talkback” discussions with guests such as Tovah Feldshuh. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of MCC Theatre from 2006 to 2008 and has volunteered for many years as an usher at the Paper Mill Playhouse.
Prior to joining TACT, Bill worked as a marketing and communications executive for a number of prominent financial services companies. In addition to a professional certificate in Arts Administration from NYU, he earned an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers University and a BA in Communications and English from Seton Hall University. He is also a graduate of two programs offered by the Commercial Theater Institute: “Introduction to Commercial Producing” and “Marketing for the Commercial Theater.”
