David has been a member of TACT since the 1995/1996 Season and has appeared in 12 productions with the company.
David Staller is the artistic director of the Gingold Theatrical Group, which presents PROJECT SHAW: devoted to presenting every play ever written by George Bernard Shaw. GTG is also producing the new-play development program, which follows Shaw's lead as theatre critic turned playwright. GTG also sponsors two educational programs for inner-city teens. He studied acting with Lee Strasberg, Uta Hagen, Stella Adler and at RADA, and 'cello with Rostropovich. He has acted in three Broadway plays and almost fifty off-Broadway plays. He has appeared in the usual television shows and innumberable commercials, particularly voice-overs. A writer for many years, he has been a staff script writer for Turner Entertainment among other film and television companies. He has produced and directed many plays, concerts and special events in New York and around the world. GTG will begin presenting full productions of Shaw's plays in 2010. |
