SYNOPSIS |
When Juilian is drafted he must leave his innocent young wife, Colombe, under the dubious care of his mother, the celebrated, egocentric actress Madame Alexandra. Colombe's introduction to the sordid side of the stage is swift and complete, but the strength and resourcefulness of this former flowergirl should never be underestimated in this beatutiful and touching play set in Paris at the turn of the century. |
