The Apollo of Bellac & The Bald Soprano

By Jean Giraudoux and Eugene Ionesco
Directed by Scott Alan Evans

March 23-26, 2001

The New-York Historical Society Theatre

SYNOPSIS
In this pair of French one-acts, Giraudoux puts his unique spin on our notions of beauty when a young girl discovers the ultimate secret to win men's hearts. Then Ionesco throws all conventions out the window with his hilarious absurdist masterpiece of middle class life. It's truth, beauty, and the bourgeoisie.
