Time and the Conways

By J.B. Priestley
Directed By Will Pomerantz

November 9-12, 2001

The New-York Historical Society Theatre

SYNOPSIS
The Conways are a prosperous middle-class family from a small manufacturing town in England. When we first meet them, in 1919, they are all gathered to celebrate daughter Kay's twenty-first birthday. They appear to be a large, happy brood, full of ambitious dreams and hopes for the future. But Time has a way of playing on hopes and dreams and Time does no less to the Conways in this 1937 British classic.
